This 83 year old rock house was built by the client’s grandfather

We tried to hang the uppers through the nailers but the granite rocks were too hard and the old grout was too loose.
Fortunately the roof pitch provided an area of exposed lumber above the cabinets. We hung a plywood backer secured to the that rock wall lumber cap and secured that hanging panel
snug to the wall wherever the grout and rocks would allow us. The roto hammer was able to drill several softer granite rocks enough to catch anchor bolts here and there.

Doors are shaker glass ready.
Countertop is maple butcher block.

It is now a cool little kitchen in that very old basic house.

This client had moved into her brand new home, but the quality of the cabinetry installation was not acceptable. There were numerous problems with doors and drawers. The crown moulding and the island panels were mitered poorly with caulk slopped onto joints and painted over.

We installed all new doors and drawer fronts,
Remounted all the crown correctly with no misalignment or gaps. The island appearance was remodeled with a wainscot frame and panel style above a 4” base moulding.
The client appreciated the care taken with this correction project.

This client is converting their home office room into a guest room.
The project is to remove the desk and fabricate cabinetry and wood top edge repair to fill that space. Their ‘popular’ request was “please make it look like it wasn’t added”.

They were very happy with the
‘looks like it was always there’,
finished product.

This kitchen remodel client had done their design work and wanted a contractor to build them nine cabinets and they would do their own finishing and help with the install.

They were great to work with and since
then, Josh has been my number one cabinetry painting referral. When I need a painter on the project, Josh gets the call !
His quality, neat painting habits, and customer care always impress the clients, ( and me).

Josh and Tamara’s design expanded their kitchen and we added nine cabinets to the rearranged design.

Their doors are solid Red Oak plank with stabilizing rails on the inside faces.
They wanted a specific width range of the
Red Oak laminated staves on the new doors so they would match the existing.
Again Ramon Chacon at RC Millwork in Chino Valley came through for us, the doors look great !

Their kitchen is a beautiful collaboration between client and contractor !

The clients wanted a 13” deep mantel to wrap over their existing 6” deep sheet rocked mantel. Each wall is 135 degrees off the back wall.
We built a plywood template onto the existing. Then back at the shop we deconstructed it into templates for a fit over cherry mantel, furniture style.
