Some bittersweet news: We will be closing this chapter of Nibbs Chocolates at the end of October.

This wasn’t an easy decision, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. 🫂

But, it's not all bad. Lindy is moving on to a new opportunity in Minneapolis, MN making this the right time for us to pause and think about what's next. That being said, it may not be goodbye forever! We hope to revisit Nibbs again in the future, in a new capacity, when the time is right.

We sincerely appreciate all of the wonderful people and friends we have met through Nibbs over the last four years. It has been such a rewarding experience sharing our chocolates with you. There’s nothing better than seeing someone excited about something we’ve put so much care into making, so thank you for that! 🫶

But, don’t be too sad! There is still time to grab chocolates before we wrap up for the year! Visit any of our retailers between now and October 24 (while supplies last), or preorder on our website for pickup at our final pop up at on October 26 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

We are making a fresh batch of these cuties for our upcoming pop ups! Just in time for Easter and filled with nostalgic vanilla bean marshmallow 🐰 (Now in even more spring colors! 🩷💛💙💜)

Come find us this weekend at on Saturday from 11am-3pm at the Blooms and Bubbly Spring Market, located on the pool deck! 👙

Next week, we will be at the Hoff Center on Friday the 25th for their monthly Fourth Friday open house, from 4pm-9am and on Sunday the 27th we will be back at the for their 7th Annual plant sale! 🌱

We are excited to partner with and the for "Love and Chocolate" a unique sensory experience that enhances our sense of taste through music! From high school hobbyist to professional pastry chef, Lindy’s love for baking has been a sweet journey! After discovering her passion for cooking while working as a line cook, she moved to Omaha in 2018 to pursue her dreams at Metropolitan Community College’s Culinary Arts and Management Baking and Pastry program. Her time at Hardy Coffee Company and as pastry chef at Au Courant Regional Kitchen and V. Mertz helped hone her skills and creativity, especially with chocolate. In 2021, Lindy launched Nibbs Chocolates and Desserts.

Happy Small Business Saturday! 🍫

People always ask, how did you get into making chocolates? Originally, when I was looking for culinary schools, I saw that Metropolitan Community College (Nebraska) had a Chocolates and Confections class within their Baking and Pastry program. Since day one I was excited to learn more about working with chocolate and that particular class was my stepping stone to the real deal! After finishing school, I was the Pastry Chef at Au Courant Regional Kitchen and V. Mertz where I was able to bring all of my chocolate ideas to life. I experimented with different techniques and built a collection of recipes that are the foundation of our chocolate bonbons we create today! (Trust me, there have been many modifications and improvements from the originals! But that's all part of the process, ya know?) After working in the restaurant industry, we started Nibbs Chocolates in 2021 at the Kitchen Council where we just celebrated our 3rd birthday! 🎂🎈

So, that's where it all started! I've always felt like is a good reminder that when you and you're supporting a REAL person who is just out here doing their thing, and wanting to share it with people! ❤️ Check out some of our favorite small businesses below, and give them some love! 💌
