If you had told me when we first unlocked the doors to Binds & Blooms that one day we’d be accepting a Best Of Rhode Island award I never would have believed you.
There have been so many early mornings, late nights, and moments where I’ve wondered if I could keep juggling it all. Building a bookstore while raising three kids hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been one of the greatest joys of my life.
To everyone who voted, shopped with us, came to an event, joined book club, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or simply believed in this little dream, thank you. Your support has meant more than I could ever put into words.
I also want to thank my family, who has supported me endlessly through every high and low. I truly couldn’t have done this without you. And a special thank you to my brother, Dante, who recently jumped into this with me. Because of him, we’ve been able to keep our doors open later to better accommodate our customers, and that has made such a difference. Thank you for believing in this dream, and showing up for me.
This award isn’t just mine. It belongs to this incredible community, my family, and everyone who has made Binds & Blooms feel like home.💛
