Every once in a while, a special piece of high-end audio comes back through our doors with a history we know.

Sunny’s Audio Video is pleased to offer this beautiful one-owner pair of original Magico S5 floorstanding loudspeakers.

This pair was manufactured during the second week of December 2013 and was purchased by our customer around February 15, 2014. Having this kind of provenance is important to us when representing pre-owned equipment. We know where these speakers came from, and we can confidently offer them to their next owner.

The Magico S5

The original S5 was an important loudspeaker for Magico—a substantial three-way design that combined the company's extraordinarily rigid aluminum enclosure construction with tremendous resolution, powerful low-frequency capability, precise imaging and the wonderfully controlled presentation for which Magico became known.

At nearly 195 pounds per loudspeaker, the S5 is a serious piece of engineering.

Its sealed aluminum enclosure houses a sophisticated four-driver array consisting of:

• 1-inch beryllium-dome tweeter
• 6-inch Nano-Tec midrange driver
• Two 10-inch aluminum-cone woofers
• Three-way, four-driver configuration
• Sealed aluminum enclosure
• Claimed bass extension to approximately 22Hz
• Approximately 87dB sensitivity
• 4-ohm nominal impedance

The result is a loudspeaker capable of tremendous scale and authority while maintaining the speed, focus and low coloration that made Magico such an important name in reference loudspeaker design.

Aurender - Official N50 + NH10
A Digital Front End That Has Become Something Special at Sunny’s

The Aurender N50 is quickly becoming one of our favorite digital sources at Sunny's Audio Video / Sunny Components Inc..

Aurender has put tremendous engineering into the N50, and one of the things that particularly interested us was its ability to integrate beautifully into a true reference digital system.

In our system, the N50 feeds the extraordinary CH Precision C10 two-chassis DAC through CH-Link HD. It is a remarkably simple connection for a digital system capable of this level of performance.
