Why we believe in responsible va**ng for adult smokers!
At Rolling Rock V***r, we believe adult smokers deserve access to information, options, and honest conversations.
Let’s be clear: va**ng is not risk-free, and ni****ne is addictive. But for adults who already smoke ci******es, there is an important difference between smoking and va**ng: combustion.
Ci******es burn to***co, which creates smoke containing thousands of chemicals, many of them harmful. Va**ng does not burn to***co; it heats e-liquid into an aerosol. That difference matters.
Research from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine found that completely switching from combustible ci******es to e-ci******es reduces exposure to numerous toxicants and carcinogens found in cigarette smoke. The FDA also states that e-ci******es can generally be a lower-risk alternative for adults who smoke, while making clear they are not risk-free.
The key word is completely.
For adult smokers, the potential benefit comes from fully replacing ci******es — not using both long-term. The FDA and CDC both emphasize that adults who switch should switch completely from smoked to***co products.
Some research also shows that ni****ne e-ci******es may help some adults stop smoking ci******es. A Cochrane review including evidence through March 1, 2025 found that ni****ne e-ci******es can help people stop smoking for at least six months and may work better than ni****ne replacement therapy for some adults.
That is something we take seriously.
