💚 ONE YEAR OF GAMETOWN 💚

It’s honestly humbling to be writing this.

One year ago, we opened GameTown on the Northshore with a lot of hope, small allocations, and no idea how much support this community would give us.

In the beginning, we were excited to receive a few boxes here and there and did our best to stretch every shipment. Today, our allocations and product selection have grown beyond anything we expected in our first year. Our shelves are fuller, our events are bigger, and the store feels more alive every week. That growth didn’t happen because of us alone. It happened because y’all chose to support a local card shop. Every pack purchased, tournament played, trade made, post shared, and friend brought into the store helped us grow. More importantly, y’all proved that the Northshore has a real TCG community!! We’re incredibly grateful to be part of it.

We’re still working to make the shop better. Our new chairs have FINALLY ARRIVED, so your backs can finally forgive us 😂 We’ll also be bringing back the bulk stations for everyone who enjoys digging through thousands of cards looking for hidden gems.

To celebrate our first anniversary, we’re having a special Trade Night this Saturday!

🎉 ANNIVERSARY TRADE NIGHT
🗓️ Saturday, July 25
⏰ 2 PM–8 PM
📍 GameTown | Covington, Louisiana

Bring your binders, slabs, singles, and trade crew. Whether you’ve supported us from day one or this will be your first visit, we would love to celebrate with you!

Thank you for supporting GameTown. Thank you for supporting local. And thank you for showing everyone what the Northshore TCG community can become.

One year down.

Many more to come

Every legendary quest needs an amazing support player. 💖 For many of us, Mom was our very first one—from buying that first console to finding the hidden Super Mushroom 🍄 just when we needed it.
We are taking a special 'side-quest' this Sunday to celebrate all of our personal, real-life heroes.

🛑 CLOSED FOR MOTHER'S DAY

Game Town will be taking the day off on Sunday, May 12th, to honor the moms who helped us level up. We will see you on next week! 💐🎮

Give your favorite 'Mama' Pikachu a hug and let her know she's your MVP. Happy Mother's Day from the Game Town crew!
