Today I got sick of my inventory BS. Like ready to burn it all 🙄 so friends if your local and drive-by… No, I’m not having a yard sale (yet). I am however at the “enough is enough” marker with my carport and organization. And I’m dragging it all out (partly for spiders lol) but I’m soo. For real this time. Send help (need 2 bodies), or just vibe for my roommate (kaya) and shop my closets.

What’s this mean? - better visibility across the platform, top tier actual human customer support resources, and lots of perks that you just wouldn’t understand but IYKYK😂

THIS benchmark isn’t one that many people reach on the platform - much less a single mom one woman show - level 2 means I’ve committed to not only providing quality merchandise and service, but helping my other sellers on the platform, recruiting cohorts that met their own goals and celebrating the community aspect of fashion and reselling through lifting up others.

I MEAN for real guys…. 20,000 times I’ve shared OTHER PEOPLES INVENTORY TO HELP THEM! That equals to hours, days even spent looking at others’ inventory and sharing to boost their visibility. Frequently they do the same to me. Quid pro quo at its finest ♥️

Jealousy is vicious amongst resellers. It can actually be quite nasty (yes the vintage market as wild as it sounds) - from the trolling strangers in groups - belittling their stock, expertise and personality, literally stealing stuff out of each others carts while sourcing, the bias towards/against hot niche markets, the ones out here that don’t have passion for the industry - it truly can be exhausting and is the main negative aspect of this market that I’ve experienced first hand and witnessed consistently over the past year and a half.

This goes to show that being a girls girl, kind, funny, respectful (and sometimes disrespectful “oopsies”) and SASSY 💁🏻‍♀️ (but always classy) can get you where you wanna be.

As I continue to show up as my authentic self, it ruffles feathers and intimidates some….but real recognize real. And Cait is here to stay!

So today I challenge you to share another persons content….hype up your friends in their comment sections, hell maybe even purchase from a small local (to you) reseller and support sustainability, shopping secondhand first and COMMUNITY.

It’s just the way it was meant to be.

Sunset at the top may look a lot different than the bottom. …. But all I can say is “DAM! My hometown sure is beautiful” …. (see what I did there 😂)
Reflecting today on gratitude…. for knowing when I need grounding and the realization that less really is more ♥️ finding peace in the chaos and finally that this Labor Day I’ll be working and living my dream 🌈
