Hi farm followers!

It’s been a busy season and the wholesale side of things is pretty much done…whew. We’re prepping for another busy weekend and have made a decision to limit cutting to the west side of the farm and a few other specific areas nearby.

We’ll have two centers of operation for your convenience: one at our normal choose and cut shed and the other to the north of our new house. There will be sleds and saws available, as well as the ability to take payment and wrap trees in each place.

Many tree farms shut down well before Christmas in order to preserve their crop for future years. We have chosen to stay open but manage places where people can cut. Thank you for understanding. As a reminder, we’re open 9-4 every day until Christmas Eve and on that day we’ll close at noon.

We recommend arriving by 3:30 at the latest to cut your tree, and to be aware that we officially close at 4:00 because sunset is shortly after 4 and it gets dark surprisingly fast. See you soon!

Happy Saturday morning! We expect this weekend will be the busiest of the season, so we’re prepped and ready!

Thought it might be a good time to give some of our annual tips 🙂🌲

🌲we have saws, sleds and twine to tie your tree on your car; we don’t charge for wrapping your tree

🌲there is no such thing as a perfect tree, so please don’t come expecting to find perfection; over the years a couple of people have left without being able to find what they’re looking for, but we have thousands of trees to choose from and each has their own personality. We are not a ‘cookie cutter’ tree farm with orderly rows of trees trimmed exactly like each other. Please keep that in mind!

🌲please come prepared for the weather. Dress shoes and sneakers will leave you cold and wet. Boots are the best.

🌲if you cut a tree and then change your mind when you spot a different tree, PLEASE don’t leave that first tree on the ground! Bring it back to us because we can easily sell it as a pre-cut tree. It’s the equivalent of going into a store, opening a package and leaving it, or something like that. It’s a waste of a tree, and we realize that people change their mind. We’ve already found two on the ground this year. Thank you!!

🌲our trees are $8/foot and we will almost always round down in favor of the customer. Please don’t try to negotiate with us. Our tree prices are the result of calculations of our costs and taxes that we absorb. If you give us a hard time, we will round up 😏

🌲Choose and Cut 2025

🌲We’re open every day starting 11/22 from 9-4pm, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day (closed) and Christmas Eve when we will close at noon.

🌲If you plan to come later in the day, please arrive by 3:30 to allow time to choose and cut your tree. Thank you!

🌲All trees are $8/foot

🌲We will provide saws and can wrap your tree at no charge

🌲We welcome dogs and ask that they stay on a leash at all times while on the farm 🦮

🌲In order to manage the crop, we may limit cutting to certain areas later in the season. Thanks for understanding!

Oooo this little dusting of snow has got us thinking even more about the holidays! We’ve decided to open on Saturday, November 22nd, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Hey tree farm followers! We’ve already had quite a few people get in touch about pre-tagging trees and asking when we will open for the season, so we thought it was worth posting about those things.

🌲 you can come and pre-tag trees any time! We just ask that you park in a way that doesn’t block a road or driveway. The best place to park is by the choose and cut shed, up the hill and across from the yellow farmhouse

🌲 we haven’t quite decided when we’ll open for the season. It’ll probably be the weekend before Thanksgiving but will possibly be the Monday before. We’ll post info here and on our website once we make a decision.
