One of our “Sewing with Donna” newcomers, Dan S., started his sewing journey just six months ago with the simple goal of repairing some bench pads. Little did we know, he was destined for sewing greatness!
Dan recently made this beautiful dress as a surprise for his wife, and we couldn’t be more impressed with his progress!

The “Anchored Through the Waves” pattern is a beautiful reminder that just like a quilt, life is made from many different pieces. Through every storm, we may feel tossed by the waves unsure of what comes next. But an anchor reminds us that even when life is pulling us in every direction, we can hold fast to what keeps us grounded. The Ohio Star, Snail’s Trail, and patchwork Anchor come together to tell a story of perseverance, hope, and strength and that with patience, courage, faith, and the support of those who love us, we can weather the hardest seasons.
