The Colorado Minerals, Fossils & Gems Show returns to the Denver Coliseum from September 11–20, 2026, inviting visitors of all ages to explore one of Colorado’s most exciting celebrations of minerals, fossils, gemstones, jewelry, and natural history.
Spanning the Denver Coliseum and surrounding outdoor tents, the 10-day event will feature more than 300 exhibitors from around the world offering minerals, fossils, meteorites, crystals, gemstones, handcrafted jewelry, lapidary art, beads, carvings, metaphysical products, and unique collector specimens. Admission and parking are free, making the show an accessible and family-friendly destination for longtime collectors, science lovers, wholesale buyers, and everyone in between. New for 2026, CMFGS is introducing a free shuttle service to help visitors move more easily between entrances and the many focal areas in and around the Coliseum. The new transportation option, with various planned stops, is designed to make the overall experience more convenient and enjoyable for guests, allowing them to navigate and shop the show with ease.
One of this year’s most anticipated attractions will be the debut of a remarkable 65-foot-long Diplodocus skeleton display inside the special dinosaur exhibition area on the lower level of the Denver Coliseum. The enormous sauropod joins an impressive lineup of prehistoric displays featuring skeletons of Tyrannosaurus, Utahraptor, Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Tarbosaurus, and Deinonychus, creating an unforgettable experience for dinosaur enthusiasts and families alike.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the popular Miners Co-op section, where miners, prospectors, and artisans share material they personally collect, mine, and prepare. From rough gemstones and mineral specimens to fossils, petrified wood, and handcrafted jewelry, the Miners Co-op offers a chance to connect directly with the people behind the discoveries and hear the stories that make each piece unique.

The Denver Coliseum provides more than 300,000 square feet of exhibition space across multiple levels and outdoor tents, creating an expansive yet welcoming environment for browsing, learning, and discovery. Visitors can expect everything from affordable treasures and gifts to museum-quality specimens and rare collector material.
Organized by longtime mineral show participants David Guery and his wife, Logan Layton, alongside veteran promoter Heather Grana Monahan, the event was created to build a vibrant miner-direct marketplace paired with an engaging and accessible public experience.
Each year, the organizers continue to refine and expand the show based on valuable feedback from both exhibitors and attendees.
