My baby is FIVE today. 🥹And I honestly don’t know how that happened.
Lennox is one of the funniest little people I know. She’s kind, she has the biggest heart, she’s a little sassy, and she is absolutely a DIVA 💅🏼 She knows what she wants, she knows what she likes, and she will definitely let you know when you’re doing it wrong. 😂
She’s already lost her first tooth, which I’m pretty sure is her way of reminding me that she is NOT my baby anymore. 😭🦷 She absolutely loves her sister Maddox and watching the two of them together makes my heart so happy. And somehow, every time we go fishing, this girl manages to catch the biggest monster out there. 🎣
There are so many little things about her that I hope I never forget. Her funny little personality, her big heart, her stubbornness, her sass, the way she loves her sister, and just the way she is completely and unapologetically herself.
Lennox, being your mama is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I hope you always know how loved you are and how proud I am of the little girl you are becoming.
Happy 5th birthday, sweet girl. ❤️

🍫 KITCHEN IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!! 🍫
Well friends… it’s happening. The kitchen is officially closed and I am officially surrounded by boxes, chocolate, and absolute chaos. 😂

I’ll still be selling chocolate at 120 W. Main St. until it’s gone, so don’t panic just yet! If you’ve been putting off your chocolate run, this is your sign. Come get it before I eat it all during the move. 🤣

In the meantime, I’m starting the BIG move into 136 W. Main St. 🏠🍫

This is honestly such an exciting (and slightly terrifying 😂) milestone for Miss Sugar Ray. What started as a little chocolate dream has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, and YOU guys are the reason for that.

Every order, every repeat customer, every person who tells a friend about my chocolate, every event, every class, and every “I need more of those!” has helped me get to this point.

I’m incredibly grateful that you’ve continued to show up and grow with me. ❤️

Now I’m off to pack up an entire chocolate kitchen… which sounds WAY more organized than it actually is. 😂

Stay tuned because I’ll be posting the OFFICIAL OPENING DATE for 136 W. Main St. as soon as we’re ready! 🎉

Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of having Jennifer and Wimsies as my neighbor here in downtown Crawfordsville. Day after day, I'd walk past her shop and admire the incredible care, creativity, and hard work she poured into it. It was never just about the beautiful antiques she thoughtfully displayed it was about the love she invested in restoring and bringing new life to that building.

One of the things I'll miss most are the little moments that most people never got to see. We'd pop into each other's shops just to check in, share a laugh, vent about the day, or end the evening sitting on the bench outside for a quick chat before heading home. Those simple moments are some of my favorite memories, and they're a reminder that small businesses aren't just STOREFRONTS they're built on relationships and community.

Somehow, we always joked that we were the stepchildren of Main Street never quite the favorites, but we sure made the best of it together. Looking back, I wouldn't trade those laughs, conversations, and shared experiences for anything.

As a fellow small business owner, I know how much heart, monetary sacrifice, and determination it takes to build something special. Jennifer, you've done exactly that, and our little corner of downtown is better because of you.

Thank you for being such a wonderful neighbor, friend, and part of my everyday life. Please know that if you ever need anything, I'm only a phone call away and would be more than happy to help however I can. ❤️

Looking forward to Whimsie 2.0!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:
Over the years, Whimsie has had many challenges to overcome. The latest move from three buildings to one has been "overwhelming" to say the least. But, such is life... you gotta to roll with the punches.
Over the past 3 months, while working toward reopening, I have come to the realization that the amount of stuff in these buildings is weighing me down both mentally and physically.
As a result, I have decided to focus on clearing out all of the antiques that were collected by the previous owners. I am also selling both buildings, and looking for a place to rent downtown for Whimsie 2.0.
I am looking forward to seeing my customers at the upcoming weekend sales. Please follow along and share the posted announcements. Your continued support means everything, and if all works out, Whimsie will come back bigger and better ❤️
