Like many of you we love to have little bits of our past around us! Weather it be something we still have from our childhood or something we never had but always wanted! And by the end of the day we had made up our mind! We were going to open a Vintage Store! So we sat down and discussed what we wanted to sell and how we wanted the store to feel. Well we absolutely love everything about toys and p

op culture so it was a nobrainer! We wanted to fill the store with memories! Little bits of everyone's past! And we wanted it to feel like home, so we added the living room! Some sweet s**g rug, wood paneling, a console tv and an ugly couch! now we needed a name... While trying to explain what we were trying to open, one of our friends replied "Oh so its like a big kid store!?!" and there we have it folks.. Our name, The Big Kid Store because really aren't we all just Big Kids at heart? and the rest is history! So stop by any Sunday or Wednesday and relive a bit of your childhood! We specialize in the 80s and 90s but carry toys, video games, and much more from the 1930s to today! Voted One of the Best toy stores in Ocean County 2017 by Asbury Park Press Readers!

On Friday and Saturday, June 5th and 6th, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return to The Mahoning Drive-In Theater for a fan event of radically reptilian proportions!

See our heroes in a half shell explode across the mammoth Mahoning screen in their first two cinematic adventures, presented on original 35mm prints!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles take on the titanic terror of the sinister Shredder and his martial arts minions in the sewers of New York and the streets above in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (1990), and return to battle new malevolent mutants in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE (1991)!

Arrive early to stroll the aisles of our annual Big Kid Toy Show, with and other themed vendors with vintage TMNT toys and other relics of our collective childhoods, and Turtles comic artist Chris Allan will be on the lot selling prints and sketches of reptilian renegades and more!

They’re lean, green and on the screen! Come on out and celebrate Turtle Power with a live pre-show DJ set, themed eats, raffle, and more terrifically turtletastic treats!

Gates open at 5pm. Showtime at Sundown.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children 13 and under.
