The music and dancing are happening INSIDE the Auction Building today! 🤠

🎸 Deja’-Vu will be playing 10 AM–1 PM
👢 Emma Girandola of Valerius Productions will be teaching Country Line Dancing from 11 AM–12 PM

No line dancing experience needed—just come on in, grab a spot and have some fun! Boots and hats are always welcome. 🥰

So while you’re making your way around the Village today, be sure to stop into the Auction Building for some music, dancing and good old-fashioned Hoedown fun!

🎶 Deja’-Vu playing live from 10 AM–1 PM
🐴 And $5 pony rides for the kids!

We’re bringing a little country fun to the New Egypt Flea Market Village, and this is going to be a GREAT day to come out with the family! 🥰

🐴 Pony Rides — just $5!
🎶 Live music by Deja Vu — 10 AM–1 PM
👢 Country Line Dancing with Emma of Valerius Productions — 11 AM–12 PM

And don’t worry if you’ve never line danced before! Emma will be teaching from 11–12 and absolutely NO experience is needed. Just show up ready to have some fun—boots and cowboy hats encouraged! 🤠❤️

Of course, there’ll be plenty of treasure hunting too, so stroll the Village, visit our merchants, grab something to eat, enjoy the music and stay awhile.

Tomorrow, come spend the morning wandering the Village, hunting for treasures and visiting your favorite merchants—and we’ve got a couple of extra reasons to stop by!

🧚‍♀️ Fairy Hair by Marianne will be popping up in the Auction House from 10–2. Add a little sparkle for just $2 a strand—and yes, it’s fun for grown-ups too! 😉

🍧 Steve’s Italian Ice will also be here with Italian ice, smoothies, açaí bowls, cotton candy and more.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Weekend at the Market 🇺🇸

This weekend seems like a good time to recognize something we see every market day — hard work.

For 67 years, the New Egypt Flea Market Village has been filled with people who get up early, load their vehicles, open their shops, set up their tables, create things, collect things, restore things and work hard to build their own small businesses.

And just as importantly, there are the people who come through our gates and choose to support them. ❤️

So on this Labor Day weekend, we want to say thank you to our merchants, our outside vendors and everyone who continues to shop small and support this crazy, wonderful little village that has been part of our community since 1959.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from all of us at the New Egypt Flea Market Village!

Today’s flea market tip: LOOK TWICE! 👀

Some of the best treasures aren’t the first things you see. Check the bottom shelf, peek behind things, wander into that building you usually pass by…and don’t be afraid to circle back around. You never know what someone has unpacked since the last time you walked by!

That’s half the fun of flea marketing — you never quite know what you’re going to find. ❤️

❤️ 67 YEARS OF NEW EGYPT FLEA MARKET ❤️

67 years ago today my dad, Esler “Les” Heller, opened the New Egypt Flea Market.

I’m sure that day he had no idea what he was really starting.

He couldn’t have known how many thousands of people would walk through these grounds… how many merchants would build businesses here… how many friendships would begin here… or how many families would make coming to the market part of their own traditions.

And I’m pretty sure he couldn’t have imagined that 67 years later, the market he started would still be here—with four generations of our family continuing to be a part of it.

My dad built this place with hard work, determination and a vision that was completely his own. Over the years, it became so much more than buildings, tables and things to buy and sell. It became a community.

Dad passed away in 2018, but his presence is still very much a part of this place. I see him in the old buildings, in the stories people still tell, in merchants who have been here for decades, and in every market morning when those gates open once again.

What a legacy you left us, Dad. ❤️

67 years later, we’re still here. Still opening the gates. Still welcoming people in. Still carrying on what you started.

Happy 67th Anniversary to the New Egypt Flea Market Village—and thank you, Dad, for having a dream big enough to last for generations. ❤️
