Arts Alive is Here to Stay!

The Crescent City Downtown Divas are excited to announce that the Arts Alive portion of Friday Nights Downtown was such a tremendous success that we are expanding it into a permanent feature of our summer season!

Arts Alive opportunities will be available during our remaining July, August, and September Friday Nights Downtown events as we continue celebrating the incredible creativity, talent, and artistic spirit that exists throughout our community.

The response to our June Arts Alive event was inspiring. From live performances and interactive demonstrations to informational displays and creative conversations, artists helped transform downtown into a vibrant showcase of local talent. We heard from attendees, businesses, artists, and community members who loved the opportunity to experience art in such an accessible and welcoming environment.

Whether you participated in June, wanted to but couldn't make it, or have simply been curious about getting involved, we invite you to join us for future events. Our goal is to continue growing this opportunity and creating a platform where artists, performers, makers, creators, cultural practitioners, and storytellers can connect with the community and share their work.

Arts Alive Participation Guidelines

Arts Alive is a non-selling opportunity designed to showcase artists through:

-Live demonstrations
-Interactive experiences
-Informational displays
-Creative engagement with the public
-Live performances
-Educational and cultural presentations
-Artists are encouraged to interact with attendees, answer questions about their creative process, and share information about future exhibitions, performances, classes, commissions, workshops, or other artistic opportunities.

If you wish to sell artwork, merchandise, or products, you must register through our standard vendor process.
