How do you fit 36 shelves of books into just 10? How?!! 😂 😭

Getting ready for an indoor event means going through every section of the bookshop and making some very tough choices. Which books come with me? Which ones have to stay behind? And how am I supposed to choose between them?!

It’s basically a very dramatic game of bookshop Tetris—with a little heartbreak mixed in. 😂 But I promise, those 10 shelves will still be packed with plenty of amazing reads!

Bea is officially all tucked in for the winter! 🍂📚

Yesterday was our final event of the season inside the trailer, but Turn the Page isn’t going anywhere!

Throughout the winter and early spring, you’ll still find me at indoor events with a double-booth setup designed to bring as much of Bea’s cozy, bookish feel as possible.

Coming up:

🎃 October 24, 12–7 p.m. — Boo on the Coast at the Crescent City Recreation Center

🍂 November 6–8 — Fall Holiday Bazaar at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds

🎄 December 5–6 — Holiday Craft Show at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds

Bea may be resting, but there are still plenty of books, Blind Dates with a Book, and bookish goodies ahead. I can’t wait to show you what I’m putting together for our indoor setup!

Isn’t this beautiful?!!

The Sutter Coast Hospital Infusion Center nurses created this amazing display for today’s Bras for a Cause event, featuring lots of Romantasy-themed books and goodies… including Turn the Page Blind Dates with a Book and a tote!

I absolutely love seeing how thoughtfully they brought everything together and that gorgeous bookish bra is incredible! Thank you for including Turn the Page in such a special display. 🩷

A little behind-the-scenes look at setting up a mobile bookshop! 📚

After Bea travels, every shelf needs attention. I have to straighten the books, fix the spacing, and decide which covers to face out—all while trying to make everything fit and look inviting.

Then I move to the next shelf…and do it all over again. 😂 The shelf-styling struggle is real!
