The idea for THE MAC THRIFT STORE came from the MAC Student Affairs Division Staff . staff is dedicated to sustainability and providing our students with resources. One way that can be achieved is to recycle goods and merchandise that are in good condition and can be reused. We wanted the MAC THRIFT STORE to be a focal point on campus and to show that MAC is becoming more sustainable and that MAC Community contributes to students success. Among the items currently for sale are clothing,wall decorations, scrubs, jewelry, shoes, backpacks, key chains and a whole lot more. Email [email protected]

Threads will be running a sale beginning today until Friday, 3/31. The promotion is BYOB- Bring Your Own Bag. Bring a backpack, store bag, purse, gym bag, or any other type of bag and fill it for only $1!!

Threads is located in the basement of Cosgrave (across from Little People's Place). We will be staffed during certain hours- if a student is not there to help you, please come to Cosgrave 116 or the Ihmsen Residence Life office.

The hours are as follows:

Monday (today): 10am-12pm; 3pm-4:30pm
Tuesday: 10am-11am; 3pm-5pm
Wednesday: 11am-12pm
Friday: 10am-12pm; 1pm-3pm

Good morning! Our spring schedule will be finalized soon but first, take note of an awesome sale! BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) to Threads and fill it for only $1! We will have representatives in Threads each afternoon this week- if no student is there, stop by a Residence Life office (Cosgrave 112, 116, or Ihmsen Residence Life Office)!

Are you beginning to pack your clothing? Do you have clothing in good condition that you probably won't wear again? Donate them to your fellow MAC students! We are having a campus competition for Threads donations through May 2nd!

Place your gently-used clothing in one of the boxes near the lounge or entrance to your residence hall. The hall with the most qualifying donations will receive a treat on May 3rd!
