📖 Need to switch up genres?

The Man in the Dog Park begins with a chance encounter between an anthropologist and a homeless veteran. Alongside a dedicated shelter worker, the authors take readers directly into the daily spaces of homelessness—from shelters to panhandling corners. By sharing real stories of survival and ingenuity, this compelling book shatters common myths and exposes the systemic barriers shaping the unhoused experience in America. It is a powerful, deeply humanizing read that challenges how we view one of society's most misunderstood crises.
Goodreads rates this read 4.2 ⭐️

📚 If you enjoy historical fiction, try this.

Set in the aftermath of World War II, Keeper of Lost Children is a sweeping, deeply emotional historical fiction novel that uncovers a hidden chapter of post-war history.
Moving between the desegregation of the U.S. Army in 1948 Germany and a prestigious Maryland boarding school in 1965, the story follows three unforgettable individuals whose lives intersect through a secret orphanage.
