Pritzker Wants 3 Major Gun Control Bills Before May 31 Adjournment
Right now, here in Springfield, JB Pritzker’s gun control agenda is no longer centered on just one bill.
It is a coordinated package designed to layer restriction upon restriction until lawful gun ownership becomes nearly impossible for gun owners who live here in Illinois.
Several major gun control bills are active and eligible to move this session:
👉 HB-4414 -- forcing the registration and tracking of every round of ammunition we buy. This registration is the first step towards confiscation.
👉 HB-3320 -- imposing massive manufacturer licensing fees and financial penalties designed to crush the firearm industry and pay violent thugs for being shot while committing crimes.
👉 SB-2652 -- banning the sale of commonly owned handguns like G***ks based on how they could be modified by criminals. Another horrible bill that restricts us, not criminals.
This is not random legislation; this is a plan for step-by-step disarmament.
One bill tracks the ammo we buy.
Another drives gun manufacturers away.
And another bans the most popular handgun in Illinois.
Step by step, year by year, Springfield Democrats try to tighten control over who can own fi****ms and under what conditions.
Governor Pritzker despises an armed population. He pushes confiscation and registration bills constantly -- anything he can do to disarm us one step at a time.
And right now, Pritzker and his allies are working behind the scenes to whip votes in support of this gun control package.
That’s how Springfield operates.
Votes are counted in private. Pressure is applied inside caucus meetings. Leadership makes sure the numbers are there before anything ever reaches the floor. Once they believe they have the votes locked in, legislation can move very quickly.

Dear Representative,
I am writing you as a member of the Illinois Fi****ms Association and as a voter in your district.
Thanks to our ‘Bail Reform’ laws and existing gun control, Illinois’ crime rates are already out of control. (The only declines are because Trump is removing illegals from Chicago and causing others to leave on their own.)
Pushing more gun control in 2026 will only get more innocent people killed, and give gun owners that much more of a reason to organize against anyone who votes for it.
The bills being pushed this session will make things worse by disarming law-abiding citizens while criminals continue to ignore the law. As a constituent, I want you to vote no on:
1. HB-43; which will mandate civil liability insurance to apply for a FOID Card
2. HB-3320; which extorts money from gun manufacturers and gives it to criminals
3. HB-1177; which raises taxes on guns and ammo, going to Pritzker’s ‘think-tank’
4. HB-1398; which orders pediatricians to question our kids about guns in our home
5. SB-2652; which bans the sale of G***k handguns statewide
None of this will stop criminals. But I know that’s not the goal. These bills are about disarming “We the People” so JB Pritzker and Springfield Democrats can rule without resistance -- something that has never worked on an armed population.
I am demanding that you vote NO on HB-43, HB-3320, HB-1177, HB-1398, and any similar gun control bills. Gun owners are organized, motivated, and paying close attention. Your votes this session will be remembered at election time.
