Since I was a little girl, I was always taught to give to others that are in need when I could & to always stay humble and kind...With that being said (once we get up & running) each month we will pick out a certain family, organization, rescue etc. that is in need, to donate $1
from each purchase that is made here at Roxie Ann's! Each month I will post who we will be honoring and the total that was raised! Together we can make this world a better place! How did we get the name Roxie Ann's ? Well first off, the picture above is Roxie Ann! She became part of our family in 2014 when she was found as a puppy on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere! My husband & I couldn't just leave her behind, so we took her in! She was our "first child"! In 2020 she became a "big sister" to our son, Rhett! At first, Roxie wasn't too sure of Rhett but now Rhett & Roxie are best friends! Roxie does anything Rhett wants to do & its never a dull moment with those two! Who owns Roxie Ann's? Hello everyone! My name is Kelsey! I was born & raised in southern Louisiana! I have two amazing parents, one sister, two in-laws & still have 3 grandparents living! My husband & I started dating in 2014 & tied the knot in 2022! In 2020, we had our first child (Rhett) & let me tell you he's a firecracker! Oh & I can't forget about my friend...Back in 2013 I lost my best friend, my Pepaw (Foots)! Pepaw took care of me as a little girl, we would do everything together! I miss him dearly & definitely couldn't leave him out of my story! Without the help from my family & friends I wouldn't be where I am today, I'm so very thankful for you all! I do have a full-time job, as a Deputy Clerk for the Acadia Parish Clerk's office. I have been there since 2012 & have met so many people along the way & some became like family! My co-workers are definitely the best & I'm so grateful for all that they taught me! I also do the bookkeeping for my husband's business (Zaunbrecher A/C & Heating Inc located in Rayne)! Y'all check him out, he's been working in the A/C business for over 20 years now!
