Today I’m embracing all things fall. 🍂🧡

There’s just something about warm wood tones, cozy colors, pumpkins, and a little bit of Halloween that makes me happy. I spent some time today painting this rustic wood house and adding all the tiny details by hand.

I painted this pumpkin on wood, keeping it intentionally simple and imperfect. I layered warm shades of orange, added the dark lines and whimsical stem, then distressed the whole piece to let some of the wood show through.

I love how the worn finish gives it that cozy, collected-over-time look. Sometimes the simplest projects end up being my favorites. 🧡

A little spooky is starting to creep into A Tree & Me. 🖤🌳

This rustic wood house is cut, stained and hand-painted by me, with a spooky bare tree, a few flying bats and one little glowing window. I wanted it to feel like Halloween without losing the simple, natural wood look I love.

Each piece is made by hand, so no two will ever be exactly alike. 🎃

Trying something new for fall! 🍂

Each of these wooden oak leaves is cut, stained and finished by hand — and this was also my first try at wood burning the leaf veins. I have to say, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out!

I love the simple, natural look of the wood and how easy they are to mix in with pumpkins, greenery, baskets or whatever fall decor you already have.

A little rustic, a little imperfect, and completely handmade. 🤎

I do not burn harvest candles.

And my own shelves currently have random craft supplies, sanding dust, and probably three unfinished projects on them. 😂

But if these little houses can make your home feel this cozy, then my job is done. ❤️🍂
