Cloud 9 Griptape Was your last sheet of griptape boring? At Cloud 9, we create skateboard griptape with designs to help you express yourself.

So one morning, in 2012, I was driving to work at Starbucks around 4 a.m. As I was thinking about the definition of happiness, like any normal person would do pre-sunrise, Katy Perryʼs “Wide Awake” started playing on the radio. The lyrics, “Yeah, Iʼm falling from cloud nine...” really struck me. Somewhere in that moment, I realized that I needed my own definition of happiness instead of always com

paring it to someone elseʼs. Okay... I might have been extremely tired, but I knew THAT song playing at THAT moment was more than delirium: it was fate telling me it was time to find my Cloud 9 (aka my happiness). From that point forward, Cloud 9 was all I could think about. Cloud 9 is deeply rooted in skateboarding, however it is not just about skateboarding. Cloud 9, like happiness, is whatever you want it to be.

Concrete Jungle Foundation (CJF) is a non-profit organization that builds skateparks and runs youth programs for underserved communities around the world. In 2020, we built The in Kingston, Jamaica. The design for this grip tape was created by Elishama Beckford ( ), one of the local skaters at the park. 100% of the proceeds from this grip goes into running youth programs at the skatepark. Thank you for helping us plant the positive seeds of skateboarding.
