Losing someone close to you is never easy, and our thoughts are with Greg, Billy’s family, and all those who knew and loved him during this difficult time.

🧼 TIP TUESDAY IS BACK — AND GREG IS DISHING OUT ANOTHER DISHWASHER TIP! 😎🔧

🚨 GREG KNOWS: Your dishwasher pod might have a better seat in the house! 😂

Most of us toss that dishwasher pod into the little detergent compartment and shut the door. Seems right, right? 🤷‍♂️

But Greg says… try putting the pod directly in the bottom of the dishwasher instead! 🧼⬇️

Here’s why: If that little detergent compartment doesn’t open at the right time, the pod may not fully dissolve or release all of its detergent when it needs to. And nobody wants to run a whole dishwasher cycle just to discover their dishes are still wearing yesterday’s dinner. 🍝😂

Putting the pod directly in the bottom allows it to dissolve during the wash cycle without depending on the dispenser door to open at just the right moment. ✨🍽️

It’s a simple little trick that could help your dishwasher do its job — and help your dishes come out sparkling clean! 🙌✨

Just turn on the cold water, let your disposal run, and add a few cups of ice cubes. 🧊🚰

As the ice gets chopped up, it helps knock away buildup and freshen up the inside of your disposal — while helping keep those grinding surfaces clean and polished!

🚨 GREG KNOWS: You probably don’t need to buy a new microwave grease filter!

Did you know the aluminum grease filter underneath your over-the-range microwave can be cleaned and reused? 👀✨

When your filter starts to look dirty or greasy, it’s time for a cleaning! Instead of tossing it out and purchasing a new one, simply remove the filter and place it in your dishwasher. 🧼🍽️

Let your dishwasher do the dirty work, then make sure the filter is completely dry before putting it back in place.

It’s an easy way to keep your microwave’s grease filter clean and working properly — without buying a replacement every time! 🙌

So, let’s kick things off with a simple dishwasher tip that just might make you wonder, “Why didn’t I know this?” 👀

🚨 GREG KNOWS: Get your water hot before you start the dishwasher!

Before you start your dishwasher, turn on your kitchen faucet and let the water run until it gets hot. 🔥 Then turn on your dishwasher and let it do its thing!

Why? Your dishwasher uses hot water to get your dishes clean. By getting the hot water flowing through the pipes first, your dishwasher can start with hot water instead of having to wait for the water to heat up.

It’s a simple little step that can help your dishwasher get a head start on the cleaning cycle! 🧼✨
