Was reading an article in the chronicle today about a shelter for the homeless Teens in this county .. Was wondering what qualifies them as homeless .. Is it for Teens that have lost their parents and have no relatives to care for them .. Or is it that they leave home cause they want to abide by the parents rules at home ... These are the only two reasons I can come up with how a teen would be homeless... In either case there are already programs in place for both ... One for the awful situation where they lost both parents which are a foster home ... And for the one that doesn't wanna follow rules at home it's called making ur own bed now you sleep in it ... Just to come up with a shelter cause kids don't wanna follow rules at home is not let repeat that is not gonna make them follow the rules anywhere else .. I'm trying to understand why there is a need for such a place ... If anyone can clue me in on some other reason we need this please in lighten me ...
