Homeschool Day at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX!!! We were able to tour the building astronauts train in and see so so much more! Such a cool experience!

Some days feel like a milestone.
This was one of them.

We delivered one of our largest jerky orders to date to one of our top dealers BadassJerky LLC in Fort Myers, FL—stocking up their second location—and that alone would’ve been a win. But the day didn’t stop there.

We sampled other jerky brands, crushed some seriously good treats, then headed over to the owner’s auto shop… and wow. Southern hospitality from the second we walked in. A full tour of his limo and tour bus company, his custom auto shop, and a lobby that looked more like a museum—filled antelope, lions, even a giraffe watching over the room.

At one point it hit us—this didn’t feel like work.
It felt like family. Employees laughing, pride in what they do, everyone pulling in the same direction.

Jelly Roll said it best: “New playground, new playmates.”
Want success? Surround yourself with successful people.
The vibe was unforgettable—and we’re grateful to be in rooms like this.

Running a retail business looks a little different when your office has wheels. 🚍🔥

This week, we packed up one of our LARGEST jerky orders ever…
📦 in a Walmart parking lot
📍 while living full-time in our skoolie
💪 and chasing the dream one mile at a time

That order? It completely wiped out our inventory—like cleaned us out clean. We’re beyond grateful and hustling hard to restock, but if your favorite flavor is missing right now, hang tight. Good things (and good jerky) are coming back soon.

This is what being a retailer on the road really looks like—no warehouse, no loading dock, just grit, gratitude, and a whole lot of faith. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

We found so many beautiful seashells, but living in a skoolie means space is precious, so we’ve gotta get creative. How have you used shells in small spaces? Decor? Art? Functional ideas? Kids’ projects?

Some days the beach is quiet, and the memories are loud.
Each footprint in the sand reminds me of the ones who once walked beside us—loved ones we still miss, still carry, still talk to in the quiet moments. The tide may wash the prints away, but the paths they helped shape in our lives remain forever.

Gone from our sight, never from our hearts. 🤍

We stumbled on an absolute gem in Homestead, Florida — Robert Is Here Fruit Stand and Farm — and it ended up being one of those stops you don’t forget 💚

This family-owned fruit stand has a story behind it that’s truly heartwarming and inspiring, and the moment you pull in, you can feel the love that’s been poured into the place.

The fruit alone was unreal.
Starfruit. Dragonfruit. Jackfruit.
Fresh coconuts they’ll cut open on the spot and hand you with a straw 🥥
Avocados the size of softballs.
And the mangos… oh man — so sweet and juicy they ruined grocery store mangos forever 🥭

But it didn’t stop there.

Out back is a full-on animal sanctuary where the kids could run, explore, and burn off energy while we soaked it all in. Parrots, chickens, emus (yes, you can buy emu eggs!), tortoises, turtles, goats, iguanas, ducks, and more. We fed them fresh lettuce and laughed watching the goats casually use the tortoise like a climbing rock 😅

It was the perfect place to stretch our legs, slow down, and just enjoy being together.

Sometimes the best travel memories aren’t the big attractions — they’re the unexpected stops that surprise you in the best way 🌴✨

The Everglades were… A LOT 😅
In the best way. Checking in from Flamingo Adventures in Everglades National Park!

We don’t have many pictures because honestly — everything happens fast down there and the wildlife is slightly terrifying when you’re used to New England woods 🫣🌲

Did you know Florida has panthers?!
Not the black panthers we pictured in our heads, but more like mountain lions just casually living their best swamp life. That was a fun fact we did not need to know beforehand.

Alligators? Everywhere.
And while we respect them deeply… we were perfectly fine admiring them from a very safe distance 🐊✋

Also, can we talk about the weather?!
Hot. Muggy. In January!
Our New England bodies were extremely confused 🥵

But then night fell…
And wow. 🌌
No light pollution, just endless stars stretching across the sky. One of those moments that stops you in your tracks and reminds you why this wild, unpredictable travel life is worth it.

The Everglades are intense, beautiful, humbling — and very different from what we’re used to.
Would we do it again?
Absolutely!
(Just with extra bug spray and a little more courage next time 😅)

Full-time travel isn’t always sunshine and postcards.

Sometimes it’s 30s and raining in Florida.
Dinners are still frozen.
The cheese went bad.
The key lime pies were way too sour.
And morale? Hanging on by a thread 😅

Some days the stress outweighs the fun — and tonight was one of those nights.

So we called it.
Embraced defeat.
Pulled the blankets close and declared a family Harry Potter night featuring Prisoner of Azkaban.

Because as Sirius Black reminds us, “The ones that love us never really leave us.”
And when the road feels heavy, Dumbledore’s words hit a little deeper:
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Tonight, our light looked like togetherness.
Like warm blankets, familiar quotes, and choosing rest over forcing adventure.

This life isn’t perfect.
But it’s real.
And sometimes the magic isn’t outside the bus — it’s right here with the people who make it home ✨

Some days on the road leave you feeling like you don’t quite belong.

Sanibel Islands were beautiful, but not exactly big-rig friendly, and after a day of tight parking and a few rude responses from places we normally have no issues with, we were feeling pretty defeated.

Then we found a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 🤍
This location had an entire lot dedicated to RVers — and it felt like exhaling for the first time all day.

We always check in and ask before parking overnight. When we called this location, we were met with “of course! Not a problem at all!” We arrived early to just a couple of RVs but by the time we finished dinner inside, the lot was full of fellow travelers who clearly needed the same sense of “home” we did.

Sometimes belonging isn’t about the destination — it’s about finding the places (and people) that welcome you when you need it most 🚌✨
