Help Sepulveda Corridor Businesses

Culver City city council will soon vote on a plan to create bike/bus lanes along Sepulveda Blvd that will eliminate parking on Sepulveda from Venice to Jefferson. Eliminating parking adversely affects not only Boulevard Music and all of the businesses along Sepulveda but will also affect the adjoining neighborhoods as consumers look to find parking elsewhere.

Instead of looking for ways to move bike traffic to safer, less traffic prone areas, the project creators think that creating a lane on a heavily trafficked street will encourage cyclists when other efforts to do so have proved to be ineffective and have created traffic congestion and confusion.

Mobility improvements on Sepulveda Blvd.

The Culver City City Council is advocating projects that will remove nearly all the parking on Elenda, Overland and Sepulveda, including removal of curb access for people with disabilities and parents with children. They also plan to remove critical turn lanes and add the same kind of bike lanes that ruined traffic Downtown. Don’t let this happen!
