Artesania Rinconada Classic Collection - clay pottery figurines, signed on the bottom

We found these vintage collectibles. These are retired pieces from the 1980s/1990s made in Uraguay featuring carved earthenware designs. There are two figurines available and look at the red glass tongue on the one...so cute. They are approximately 3.5".

This is a vintage mid-century modern decorative piece featuring a cluster of translucent, glowing lucite grapes attached to a piece of burl driftwood.

To be honest, we did not really know what this was when we found it, but something about it spoke to us. Upon research, we found out that this is a highly collectible piece from the MCM era. We like that it has a retro charm while making a rather bold statement. It is also rustic which makes it great for an eclectic home decor style.

Lucite Grapes are decorative ornaments made from large, colorful plastic or acrylic resin spheres wired together into clusters resembling bunches of grapes.
Burl Driftwood is a piece of water-worn timber featuring a dense, knotted tree growth called a burl.

Approximately 10x8 with almost 2 inch
size grapes
$38.00

Feature Find...Look what we found!

It's a beauty!

This unique horse appears to originate from the mid century. Cast pot metal horses like this were commonly used as carnival prizes or tourist souvenirs. The metal seems to be a scrap mix and it is painted with a gold wash. Collectors call them "clankies" due to their substantial heft.

Fun Fact: The horse is anatomically correct if you know what we mean! 🤣
