Meet Danica, the founder of Deere Creek Bakery and one of our newest artisans at Pine and Pigment!
What began as cherished time spent baking bread alongside her mother-in-law grew into a passion for creating wholesome, handcrafted baked goods. After her mother-in-law’s passing, Danica found her way back to the kitchen, where every loaf serves as a reminder to slow down, reflect, and share love through food.
At Deere Creek Bakery, Danica specializes in freshly milled grains and sourdough breads, bringing nutrient-rich, delicious baked goods to her community. From loaves and muffins to scones, every item is made with care, tradition, and a whole lot of heart. 🍞🤍

Using premium Belgian chocolate and carefully selected ingredients, Shweta creates handcrafted treats that blend gourmet chocolate with flavors inspired by her Indian heritage. Many of her creations feature aromatic ingredients like cardamom, saffron, rose, and chai masala, resulting in unique flavor combinations that have become customer favorites. Her collection includes Indian Fusion Chocolates and classic American-inspired flavors all made in small batches with a commitment to quality and freshness.
