📣 QUICK DIE-CUTTING FYI!

Several people have asked whether the new Creative Memories dies, embossing folders and plates will work with other brands of die-cutting machines.

Here’s the easy answer:

✅ Dies & Embossing Folders = YES, in many cases!
❌ Plates & Platforms = NO — use the ones made for your machine.

Creative Memories dies and embossing folders may work with other brands of manual die-cutting machines. You’ll want to follow your machine manufacturer’s recommendations for the correct “sandwich,” and you may need to add a shim or make a small adjustment to get the right pressure.

👉 The plates are different. Creative Memories plates are specifically designed to create the correct sandwich and pressure in the Creative Memories machine. They are not intended to replace the plates/platforms made for machines like the Big Shot, Spellbinders, etc.

So the easiest way to remember it:

✂️ DIES/FOLDERS = often cross-compatible
🩵 PLATES/PLATFORMS = stick with YOUR machine’s system
