🍫🎉 Celebrating 25 Sweet Years! 🎉🍫

Today, we proudly celebrate 25 years of Custer County Candy Company!

For a quarter century, Custer County Candy Company has been a place where memories are made, traditions are shared, and handcrafted sweets bring smiles to locals and visitors alike. This milestone would not be possible without the vision, dedication, and passion of our founder, Lee Lampert, and her family. Lee built more than a candy store; she created a beloved community gathering place that became a cherished part of Custer’s history and heart.

In 2022, the next chapter of our story began when Mary Lappe and her family took ownership of the business. Having worked alongside Lee for years, Mary was committed to preserving the traditions, recipes, and values that made Custer County Candy Company so special while continuing to grow and serve our community.

This year brought another exciting milestone as we opened the doors to our new home at 522 Mt. Rushmore Road in February. While our location has changed, our commitment to handcrafted chocolates, fudge, truffles, and exceptional customer service remains the same.

As we celebrate 25 years, we honor Lee’s legacy, thank the Lampert family for laying the foundation, and express our gratitude to the Lappe family, our incredible staff, and all of our loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years.

Here's to 25 sweet years of candy, community, and memories, and to many more still to come!
