Make sure and follow Movie Shop Kid if you want to keep up with some movie / music related content. My last day managing the tanning shop page will be Friday. But I’ll be doing throwback stuff for those of us who went to / worked in movie shops 🍿

I haven’t tried polls on Facebook for a while so hopefully it works. This will be sorta from my memory, movies that were in the shop, so I may not include some lesser known, film nerd favs. 🍿

Prices are discounted and will continue to decrease for each day closer to 6/14. Must be used up by 6/14, but you will be able to buy brand new packages on 6/15 ☀️ 😎

After 48 years in the retail business (Convenient Food Mart, Movie Warehouse, Papa John’s and Endless Summer Tanning), we want to sincerely thank our customers, friends, and the community for your support, loyalty, and trust since 1978. It has truly meant more than words can express. We are grateful for the relationships, memories, and opportunity to serve you.

I started working at Movie Warehouse when I was 12 and worked there thru High School. After living in various cities and working all kinds of different jobs, I found myself back home in Cynthiana in 2016 and got the chance to be manager at Movie Warehouse. I’ve learned a ton from my parents over the years, particularly how to treat people and offer good customer service and also the importance of doing things in an honest and professional way. I have so many memories and have made tons of friends in this shop. I’ll miss you guys! I will be reviving my page called “Movie Shop Kid” to continue some small piece from the movie shop days. Movie Shop Kid is all about the throwback, the 80, 90s, early 00s, music, movies, etc. I have hundreds of DVDs and will be buying / selling physical media. Give me a follow if you’re interested 🍿
