Red Bull Lockheed P-38 Lightning / EAA AirVenture 2026

For those of you who have followed me for some time, you know my favorite aircraft is the P-38. I own several P-38 RC model aircraft and many artwork pieces of this amazing aircraft. I had the chance to photograph & record video of the Red Bull P-38 this year at .

Some folks don't know that this plane used to belong to Texan, Marvin Lee "Lefty" Gardner, and was flown under the name "White Lightnin'" during races at Reno. Red Bull purchased it, took it overseas, polished the heck out of it, removed the superchargers, and brought it back to the states for the first time at .

Note: Sorry my recording quality was not great (a bit shaky). I was terribly annoyed by people talking around me and the loud PA system. I wish we all could have sat and listened to those awesome engines and let him fly a longer performance. Alas, this is all I got.

Finally getting back to attending some events. Stopped by Bomber Field USA today for their June Warbird Rally. Weather was questionable, but I spent a few hours there grabbing content for my channel and the AMA.
