Inspired by Psalm 18:
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

GOD IS MY ROCK
A new Men's Design.

Hi Gracelets & Warrior Family,

There is something beautiful about the way Psalm 18 begins.
Before David tells us who God is to him, he simply says:

“I love you, Lord, my strength.”

I love that.

Not just I need You.
Not just Help me.
Not just Protect me.
I love You.

And then David goes on to describe the God he loves:

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
— Psalm 18:2

A rock is something you can stand on.
A fortress is somewhere you can run to.
A shield is something that stands between you and what is coming against you.
And a deliverer is someone who reaches down and pulls you out.

That is the God we serve.
Strong enough to stand on.
Safe enough to run to.
Faithful enough to trust.

Hi Gracelets & Warrior Family,

When the disciples got into the boat, they felt the wind rising—but they had no idea of the storm they were about to encounter.

A storm so fierce that even seasoned fishermen were terrified.

And yet, their Jesus was asleep.

Why?

Because His peace had nothing to do with what was happening on the outside.

He could sleep through any storm.

Then He stood and said three words:

“Peace. Be still.”

Three words.

The voice that spoke creation into existence was still obeyed by it.

And you have these words, too.

“Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you.”

— John 14:27

When something is bequeathed to you, it is something left to you in a will. It becomes yours.

Peace is your inheritance.

You don't have to beg for it.

You don't have to create it.

You don't have to wait for the storm to end before you can have it.

It is yours, NOW. This is wisdom. To know your inheritance.

"The words of wisdom are like a fresh, flowing brook-like deep waters that spring forth from within, bubbling up inside the one with understanding." Proverbs 18:4
