Today’s special is a FAJITA PLATE with grilled onions, rice, beans, salad, tortilla and a small drink — $12.99. Come see the café ladies from 11–2 and let them handle lunch!

And we’ve got one more round of MAH-JONGG tomorrow afternoon with the D’Hanis Mahjong Society from 4–7 PM! It’s FREE to play, we provide the tiles and cards, and beginners are always welcome. Pizza, b**r & w**e are available to purchase while you play.

Then SATURDAY NIGHT we’re opening up the Outback B**r Garden for KARAOKE! Bring your friends, your family, your neighbors and your questionable song choices. The pit will be hot by 6 and the café ladies will be cooking from 6–9. Family-friendly fun and plenty of ice-cold b**r!

Happy Chicken Wednesday, D’Hanis!

It’s CHICKEN WEDNESDAY, so come hungry! Let the café ladies handle lunch from 11–2 because nobody needs to be cooking in this heat unless they’re getting paid to do it.

Mahjong this week:
Wednesday, September 9th — 4–7 PM
Friday, September 11th — 4–7 PM

Free to play, beginners are always welcome, and we provide the tiles and cards. Just show up and join the fun!

Then SATURDAY NIGHT we’re opening up the Outback B**r Garden for KARAOKE!

Family-friendly fun, ice-cold b**r, questionable song choices and plenty of laughs. Pit will be hot by 6, grab a steak or sausage from the market, or let the café ladies cook for you from 6–9.

Well… apparently The Country Mart has hired TWO new employees.

And by “hired,” I mean they showed up, took over an entire wall, and have absolutely no intention of doing any actual work.

I can almost hear the conversations that happened at home…

“Oh honey, that elk is BEAUTIFUL… but he’s just a little… big.”

“Where exactly were you planning on putting that caribou?”

“I just don’t think it goes with the decor…”

And somehow WE ended up with them. 😂

A huge thank you to Joby Langfeld for bringing us this absolutely MASSIVE, gorgeous elk, and to Mr. Clay Bell for rehoming this beautiful caribou with us. Honestly maybe we should be Thanking Sissy and Kerri.

These boys are HUGE. The pictures really don’t even do them justice. They’ve officially moved in above the coolers where they can supervise the café, judge your snack choices and silently question why you came in for a Coke and left with three shirts, a freshie and lunch.

They don’t have names yet, though… and obviously THAT cannot continue.

So welcome home, boys! We’re happy to have you. You fit right in with the rest of the questionable decor and characters around here.

Now… what are we naming these two handsome fellas??

Happy Monday, D’Hanis!

It is September 7th and somebody REALLY needs to tell Mother Nature that we are officially in the “BER” months. We need them to start BER-ing already because this 100-degree nonsense is getting old. We are ready for fall… or at least weather where walking outside doesn’t feel like opening an oven.

Today the café is serving our REGULAR MENU from 11–2!

Come hungry and let our café ladies take care of lunch. And while you’re here, wander around the store! We’ve got D’Hanis gear, shirts, gifts, freshies, goodies from our local vendors, snacks, drinks and plenty of reasons to shop local and support the people right here in our little community.

We also want to send a HUGE thank you to Mr. Buddy Vargas for Saturday night! He was amazing, as always, and we had such a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Outback B**r Garden, supported live music, ate, drank and hung out with us. Y’all make these nights fun!
