It is with great sorrow we let you know that Thaila passed peacefully at home Wednesday, October 12, 2022. We are grateful for all of the support we have received throughout the years as well as most recently during her illness.

We are closed today Thursday, September the 29th because the Dade City police department has asked us to stay home. They're trying to take care of helping people. Trees are down, streets are blocked and many places do not have power.

We will be open tomorrow Friday September the 30th for our last day of business. There is a detailed post but basically we're saying come on down for your last minute bargains. Many showcases and cabinets are for sale at deep discounts.

A wonderful era is coming to an end Friday. We are opening at 10 tomorrow, September 30th so our vendors can finish removing everything from the shop. Closing time to be determined. Now is the time to come in for your last minute bargains. We have many shop fixtures for sale, showcases, shelving units and the like at really deep discounts.

One more time we wish to thank all of our loyal patrons and friends over the years.

Hurricanes are on our mind this one has the name of Ian. We will be open on Tuesday. It's unlikely that we will be open on Wednesday as that is supposed to be the worst day for rain, possible flooding and high winds. Thursday we will have to decide when the time comes and we are hoping that by Friday the last day for the shop to be open that we will be there.

In order to meet our deadline our dealers have had to pack up their inventory early, so a great deal of things have left the shop. If you are coming from any distance you might give us a call if you had a particular item in mind. When you look at the photographs the dealer initials are in one of the lower corners of each of the photographs. Dealers ME and R&S have removed their items from the shop. Dealer SAW has removed all of her glassware and other decorative items; the furniture will be leaving the shop on Tuesday. Dealer GE has emptied everything out of the tall glass fronted cabinet and a great deal of her breakables. The fifties lamps will be leaving the building Tuesday.

We have had to move up our timeline based on the fact that we will probably cannot be open on Wednesday. we don't know about Thursday so the vendors have removed items sooner than we had originally planned. We are also assuming that most of you who are in our area and our patrons are busy with the hurricane as we are.

If you are interested in the items for Thaila Stilson, hers are marked TS and they will be in the shop through through Friday.

We will be open on Monday, Columbus Day. Hours will be from 12 to 3 Monday through Friday of next week with Friday being the last day. We must vacate the building by end of business Friday, September the 30th. If you have made a purchase and have not come to pick it up, you need to do so next week. We appreciate everyone's patronage over the years and consideration and well wishes that have been extended this month in particular.
