First American Edition 1961. First American edition of this title, first published in 1934 by Obelisk Press in Paris. Banned in the US, this first and much later US edition triggered censorship battles, and it wasn't until 1964 that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the book was not pornographic.

Book is perfect for the collector who wants to own a bit of literary history!!!
