Banner day! First order of The Olde Creamery Ice Cream for the Parlor. Tubs for dipping and Pints for home sales.

The Company rotates flavors. Flavors available for this ordering cycle are as follows. Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chip, Cotton Candy, Cake Batter, Oreo Cheesecake, Snicker Salad, Butterfinger and Chocolate Caramel Brownie.

The Company will work with me to design an exclusive flavor for the Parlor. In Woodward at the Sundae Social their flavor is Member's Only and it very good. Another shop located in Clarion has chosen the Salty Cowboy. Update: My Signature Flavor is designed. Calling it CyHawk! It is an ice cream celebrating the school colors for both Iowa State and Iowa. Vanilla Base/Lemon Cookies/Strawberry Swirl/Chocolate Swirl. And some in Pints will be added to this order.

Most of the refrigeration is ordered. The Parlor floor gets epoxied on the 21st. Table and bench bases are being built custom in Las Cruces, NM by the FlexiHauler Crew. Contracted with a recommended heating/cooling contractor to set up the Parlor with a Mini-split system.

More construction work to be done. In good shape inside, but need to finish working on the front. That calls for replacing damaged lower siding and replacing it. And then getting at least the front of the building repainted.

Exciting change of direction at the Gold Medal BBQ Building. Building out retail space to serve as the location for the Pit & Parlor Cafe. Intended to capture the rustic, savory nature of in-house smoked meats and the sweet, premium nostalgia of Olde Creamery Ice Cream. Customers can expect a unique, top-tier sweet and savory culinary experience.

Also planned is an eventual expansion of the BBQ Market with less emphasis on equipment sales and more on food products.

Winding down the season so products on the shelves will be heavily discounted. As will certain equipment like the Pit Barrel Cooker inventory. Still some Hatch Chile products available. See the article on Red or Green linked in comments.

Had a chance to cook on a Pit Barrel Cooker this weekend. Was an early entry in the Drum Market and is still a joy to cook on. And was very affordable even before discounting.

Not ready yet, but the BBQ Market will be joining other quality Vendors at the Adel Farmer's Market held on Tuesdays. Required to show and sell is product either made in house or in Iowa.

We currently have great products in the Market from all over the Nation, but from Iowa only the products that come from the Brown Dogs Farm, Norwalk, IA. Several hot sauces and a favorite of mine the Spicy Ranch Dressing.

We will start researching and will find more Iowa products to have available at the Market.

Thanks to Fast Eddy for sharing the video linked to in comments. This family, committed to Mobile Food, has two built out City Buses and in at least one two Cookshack PZ 400/420 stacked pizza ovens.

I have a Step Van to build out and one PZ 400/420. I think it is time to stop thinking about and do it. Especially after I see the pizza being made with BBQ Meats.

Lots of other good info, inspiraton and direction, including the 451 Pizza Wagon that is getting it done in KC area.
