Tailwaters Fly Shop is headed west. The same brand, service and gear you’ve grown to trust, offering a new second location. We’re excited to announce store #2 is coming soon to Fort Worth, Texas in the first quarter of 2027. From fly fishing gear and apparel to worldwide travel services, community events, and everything in between, we can’t wait to bring the Tailwaters experience to Funky Town.

Fort Worth has long been home to a passionate outdoor community, and we’re looking forward to creating a new gathering place for anglers, adventurers, and friends alike in what will be one of the most unique fly shops in the country.

A Porch for Everyone //

We’ve partnered alongside long-time client and friend, Kyle Wright ( ), owner of Chimy’s Cerveceria ( )to include an angler-minded watering hole complete with an indoor bar, covered patio, and cozy yard serving cold drinks and hot food.

Tailwaters Fort Worth will share a wall and have direct entrance into “The Levee Porch,” which will surely become a crowd favorite for enjoying time on the banks of the Trinity River. We were patient in selecting a location and will stake our flag on the West Fork of the Trinity River, similar to our location in Dallas. It’s the perfect venue to shop gear, cast in the yard, have a cold beer with friends while planning your next Fly Fishing trip with Tailwaters.

We are thrilled to finally share what we have been working on behind the scenes and look forward to setting up shop with ⚡️
