The breastplate is made into two parts; the lower adjusted to overlap the other, held together with three sliding rivets to add flexibility to the plate armor. This makes it easier to bend. Faulds are riveted below the breastplate to protect the waist and hips. The pauldrons are also riveted for better movement, with a large piece of solid steel covering the shoulder area. The rondel is attached to the pauldron by a leather strap. Adjustable leather straps are added to each piece so you can get the most comfortable fit possible.
