It's normal to feel guilty about things from time to time. However, there are some things that you shouldn't feel guilty about.
Here are 4 things that make you feel guilty that shouldn't:
1. Saying no to things that go against your values🙅♀️: You should never feel guilty for saying no to something that goes against your values. Your values are what make you who you are, and you should never compromise them for anyone or anything. If you do, you'll eventually start to lose sight of who you are, and that can lead to feelings of guilt and regret.
2. Slowing down💆♀️: In our fast-paced world, it's easy to feel like we're always racing against the clock. But sometimes, it's important to just slow down and take a breather. At the end of a long day, take some time for yourself to relax and decompress. Maybe read a book, take a bath, or just sit in silence for a few minutes. Or, if you're feeling particularly stressed out, consider taking a day or two off from work or other obligations.
3. Indulging once in a while💅🏻: A little indulgence now and then is perfectly normal and nothing to feel guilty about. Whether it's a sweet treat, a new piece of clothing, or something else entirely, allow yourself to enjoy it without guilt.
4. Taking care of yourself first🧖🏻♀️: This one can be tough, especially if you're used to putting others first. But it's important to remember that you can't pour from an empty cup. So if you need to take some time for yourself, don't hesitate or feel guilty about it. Your wellbeing is always worth prioritizing.
