Custom bridal, explained — using the dress you already fell for.
When Holly asked if we could turn her favorite piece into a wedding
dress, “custom” didn’t mean starting from scratch.
It meant this: the same relaxed shape she already loved, in a fabric
with enough structure to hold up on a wedding day. We started from
the Kori kaftan — closer to what she needed than her original
Goddess — then adjusted the fit twice before it was right.
No new pattern. No guesswork. Just the version of a piece we already
make, built correctly for one specific day.
Finished four months before she needed it, so there was time to get
it right.
If you’re planning something and wondering whether we’d customize a
piece for you — ask. We say yes more often than people expect.
