Equipping women with the resources to live a well celebrated life. I tried to do it all, and all perfectly, with a newborn.

In 2015, my husband and I packed up our lives and moved from Texas to Iowa, not knowing a single soul. A month later, I gave birth to a baby girl and so started my journey to make this life of ours one of meaning and connection in our new community. We hosted at least 50+ people in our home that first year, many of which were overnight guests. With the arrival of each friend or family member, I fo

und myself loving the challenge of making them feel welcome, warm and invited into our home, but I was a mess. In effort to save my sanity, I started creating ideas and ways to be hospitable without overextending myself; buying pre-made, simplifying meals, and adjusting my expectations. After years of working with the best of the best wedding planners and brides, I am thrilled to expand my designing to all types celebrations and share what I’ve learned about how to create a life of less prep and more party!

While things on social media have been quiet, home and work life have been all but! Say hi to the newest office assistant (and my son’s built in best friend) LEO! 🐕 This boy stole our hearts at the shelter and although I’ve now bought my weight in Folex carpet cleaner, we think he’s pretty great.

Just a few life changes all in the span of a couple months. 🤯 But I am back, and with lots of newness to show and create.
