Interabang Books

Interabang Books Open daily at 5600 W. Lovers Lane #142. Our independent, locally owned shop also operates online, promptly fulfilling orders for any book in print.

Interabang Books is an independent bookstore with a hand-picked selection of books and gifts for adults and kids. We opened in July 2017 at Preston Road and Royal Lane. After tornado destruction in October 2019, Interabang moved to our current location at the Pavilion on Lover's Lane, between the Dallas North Tollway and Inwood Road. Our store features a flexible event space with seating for up t

o 50 people for book signings and a children’s area for story times and other programs. Interabang Books takes its name from the symbol that combines a question mark (an interrogative) and an exclamation point (a bang, in typesetting lingo). In suggesting the search for knowledge and the excitement of discovery, this punctuation mark conveys the spirit of our independent bookstore – and the sort of experience we want readers to have with their selections from Interabang Books.

Book recommendation from bookseller, Ali:

"This novella is fast-paced, hilarious, and crazy in the best way. Two chic, married emotional vampires, Rebeckah and Hugh (immortal beloveds), go on a cruise to do what they love most: feast on the emotions, sorrows, and desires of others. A mysterious, alluring creature appears and sends this couple into a full tailspin. Highly recommend for vampire & adventure lovers!" - Ali

Book recommendation from bookseller, Ali:

"Dreaming of an Italian vacation?
Look no further! This is a delightful, charming, hilarious book that will have you dreaming of Italy. We meet a young American man, an archivist who takes a mysterious job to archive a villa in Tuscany. Upon his arrival, his world is influenced by the amazing characters he meets as they adventure through Italy. Anytime I wasn’t reading this book, I missed the wonderful, zany, eccentric characters who fill these pages. You will love each and every one for their charms and The Baronessa (Coco) is an icon! This is such a sweet treasure of a book! Highly recommend for a feel-good vibe and an Italian escape." - Ali

Book recommendation from bookseller, Ali:

"This is a gripping and thrilling story about a young Korean woman, Eunha, who’s deeply entrenched in an infamous crime organization, her father is the Dragon Head who leads the Triads. Eunha tries to leave it all behind by marrying into a seemingly respectable Hong Kong family, but when her son is kidnapped she quickly learns things are not as they seem and she is not as far away from her old life as she thought. What follows is a story of a woman forced to make choices for herself and her son, facing painful truths from both the past and present, and forbidden love." - Ali
