From the stage at Marmomac 2026, April Renée Graves brought the Aria perspective to Verona, exploring natural stone beyond the surface and the role it plays in shaping how a space is experienced. Through temperature, texture, and tone, her discussion considered everything from the atmosphere created by color and natural variation to the way different finishes interact with light and touch. An exploration of stone not only for how it looks, but for how it makes a space feel.

In this classic kitchen by Studio McGee, our Calacatta Gold Borghini Honed marble pairs beautifully with deep walnut and tactile natural finishes, creating a space that feels both refined and lived in. Every surrounding detail was chosen to complement the stone’s presence—from the furniture-inspired island and unlacquered brass accents to the marble’s flowing gold and coffee-toned veining, bringing warmth, movement, and natural character throughout the space.

Quatre Saisons marble, which directly translates to “Four Seasons,” is the defining design moment in this quaint, yet refined restaurant and bar located inside of Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, Louisiana. San Lorenzo and Paradise Lounge is an Italian-New Orleans fusion restaurant that elegantly blends Italian refinement with New Orleans flair. Quatre Saisons marble reflects this fusion of elegance, uniqueness, and boldness through the rich colors and movement of this natural stone.

At KREWE in Dallas, our Da Vinci Quartzite becomes part of the space itself. Used to create a bespoke circular side table and island display, the stone brings subtle color and movement through its soft green tones and delicate veining. Paired with fluted bases and warm natural materials, the pieces feel both sculptural and functional, reinforcing the showroom’s thoughtful material palette and demonstrating how natural stone can become an extension of a brand’s identity.

Known for helping shape some of Dallas’ most notable hospitality destinations through Duro Hospitality, Chas Martin brings a similar appreciation for atmosphere and material into his own home. Designed alongside Sees Design, the kitchen pairs our Breccia Pernice across the countertops and backsplash, where its warm tones and layered movement create a richly textured backdrop. At the island, Palladio Granite introduces a striking contrast, its dark ground and expressive composition bringing depth, character, and balance to the space. Together, the two natural stones create a kitchen that feels both refined and deeply personal.

Beyond color and veining, the finish of a stone defines its personality. Polished surfaces reveal a reflective, almost glass-like depth that enriches the color and movement within the slab, while honed finishes soften the material with a quiet, velvety matte appearance. Leathered textures introduce a more tactile quality, drawing out the stone’s raw character and natural dimension. Subtle changes in finish, entirely different experiences of the stone.

In this lakeside home by , our white marble was used to create a clean architectural backdrop for the bar area while continuing seamlessly onto the countertop itself. The subtle veining adds just enough movement throughout the space, while the brass framing introduces warmth and structure. A tailored material palette that feels refined, understated, and completely intentional from every angle.
