As an avid traveller, what I have learned is that inspiration can come from many different aesthetics; old, modern, rustic, or minimalist. I try to select items that I am truly in love with, Items that I would actually wear myself. Sometimes these items have a magical tactile quality, sometimes it's the distinct color, and sometimes I have no explanation as to why I am drawn to it at all. I love collecting these different beads and components - I often hold on to them for years, simply looking and admiring. Etsy is this amazing community where I am allowed to be all of the things that I want to be instead of just one thing. I am a lover of the earth and the amazing things that she produces for us to survive and for us to enjoy. I am a lover of beads and how the hands of humans can manipulate what the earth gives us.
