An antique Polonaise with remarkable scale, a flowing floral composition, and a sophisticated palette of olive and teal green.

Rather than centering the design around a dominant medallion, this oversize wool rug carries its floral motifs across the entire surface, creating an open and beautifully balanced visual rhythm. A triple-guard border with an inner floral meander frames the composition, while the softly related green tones bring depth without harsh contrast. Light wear reflects the age and history of the piece.

At 11’ × 14’6”, its generous proportions make it especially suited to large living rooms, dining rooms, great rooms, double parlors, and open-plan interiors, where the allover pattern can be appreciated across a substantial furniture arrangement.

At 2’9” × 14’5”, it is particularly suited to hallways, galleries, corridors, and other long passage spaces, adding warmth, pattern, and character without overwhelming the architecture.
