Volcano eruption at Fagradalsfjall next to Litli-Hrútur in Iceland in 2023 captured from up close with a drone. Such a shot was only made possible by the use of new technologies, since it is otherwise impossible to safely observe an erupting volcano at such close range. The picture was also captured with Keilir perfectly aligned in the background. The extreme temperature of the lava creates a heat haze that can be seen on the left side of the image, being carried by the wind.

Wilson's bird-of-paradise (Diphyllodes respublica) is a species of passerine bird of the family Paradisaeidae. The family has 44 species in 17 genera, which are known for the stunning plumage of the males of the species, as most are sexually dimorphic. The first footage of the Wilson's bird-of-paradise ever to be filmed was recorded in 1996 by David Attenborough for the BBC documentary Attenborough in Paradise. Unfortunately a number of species, including Wilson's, are threatened by hunting and habitat loss.
