A thought to carry into your week.

You do not have to have it all figured out to take the next faithful step. Clarity often comes in the walking, not the waiting. The people I admire most did not move because they were certain. They moved because they were willing.

Whatever you have been putting off until you feel ready, consider this your nudge. Ready tends to show up after you begin.

What is one small step you can take this week? Name it in the comments, and let's cheer each other on.

Mondays are hard enough without starting them empty.

That is why I record a short devotional every week. A few honest minutes on calling, courage, and staying aligned when life gets noisy. They are faith-forward but made for anyone willing to ask why they do what they do.

Think of it as a reset button for your week.

You can listen wherever you get your podcasts, with links at paulpeters.online.

What helps you reset when a week starts rough? I would genuinely like to know.

I want to ask you something I ask every room I speak to.

If money were not part of the equation, what would you spend your life doing?

I am not asking to be idealistic. I am asking because your answer usually points straight at your purpose, the thing you were built to do before the world handed you a list of shoulds.

For years I ignored my own answer. I do not recommend it. The good news is that it is never too late to turn back toward it.

So tell me honestly, in the comments: what would you do? I read every reply.

Discipline isn’t glamorous. It’s the early alarm, the workout you almost skipped, and the work you did instead of scrolling.

Success isn’t built on motivation or luck. It’s built on small, repeated choices made when no one is watching.

Build the habit, and discipline will follow.

Every comeback begins with a decision: to believe that what’s broken can be rebuilt. Growth, healing, and success often start long before results are visible, they start with hope, vision, and the courage to begin again.

Most people can tell you what they do for a living. Far fewer can tell you why.

For years I confused motion with meaning. I built, I closed, I climbed. From the outside it looked like success. Inside, I kept asking a quieter question: what is all of this actually for?

Purpose is not a feeling you wait to arrive. It is a decision you make about who your work is meant to serve. When that decision gets clear, everything downstream gets clear too. Your calendar. Your yes and your no. The people you choose to build with.

I speak to teams and leaders about this for one reason. When you find your purpose, you stop performing and start contributing. That shift changes careers and lives.

What is the why behind your work? Tell me in the comments, then read the full piece at paulpeters.online.
