We first met Hunter in 2018 as an electrician apprentice with unCommon Construction.

Today, he’s a skilled electrician helping wire the city he calls home.

Trade Up! As part of Wolverine's commitment to supporting the next generation of skilled trades workers, we're proud to partner with organizations like SkillsUSA to help develop and empower future leaders.

Wolverine welcomed eleven SkillsUSA Michigan Officers to Wolverine Worldwide's headquarters for a campus tour, an introduction to the Wolverine brand, and an inspiring leadership discussion with our Work Group President, Justin Cupps.

We were also honored to present SkillsUSA Michigan with a donation to support their participation at the Washington Leadership Training Institute in Washington D.C. next month, where they'll champion the importance of career and technical education.

That's why we're proud to put boots on the feet of students like Mr. Jordan's construction class at Montecito High School as they prepare for careers in the skilled trades.

For many, a new pair of work boots represents more than gear. It's confidence, opportunity, and one less obstacle standing between them and the future they're working hard to build.
