Lexy is Mobile!!!
Thanks to everyone so much for the prayers! It’s been a long 48 hours!
I’ve had to do a lot of fighting for her, but she now has a loaner chair, that is 70% made up of her chair! (that is a lot to explain) until they fix her chair!

 She is currently home from college, this long weekend, so she will have time to get adjusted to the temporary chair!

Lula beans will be open today, Saturday, September 5th!

Update on Lexy!
 She was stranded in her wheelchair for most of the day yesterday! While I diligently was trying to get someone to come help us from her Wheelchair company! She was at KSU and luckily she had her caregiver Mya with her.
I spent countless hours on the phone trying to get help. I could not get anyone from the company to come look at her chair.! there is obviously no such thing as an emergency!
 Keep in mind. This has been her wheelchair company for 16 years.
 no one seemed to understand that this sweet girl was trapped. Couldn’t move for several hours.!
Every time I called back and had to give every piece of information all over again! They kept telling me that they were working on it.

On my last plea… they finally told me that. They would graciously give me a replacement chair.. I was so thankful. But by this time it’s 430. Keep in mind started at 9 AM.. I told them I was on my way to get it because they could not bring it to her. They told me they were sorry they close at five and they couldn’t wait for me to get there.!!!!!

No one ever came! Myself, her caregiver and friends helped me push her in the chair to the van, to get her home. Then her brother come help me push her into the house.(this is a 350 pound chair. + her 104 weight. No controls..

Got her home and in her bed. Poor thing cried all day.. to be trapped, was such a traumatic experience for her. And as her mother devastated.
That my hands were tied, depending on someone else! but we did what we had to do to get her home safely!

I will be driving all the way to Norcross today. To get a loaner chair for her that hopefully will work.(because they wouldn’t bring it to her, said they didn’t have an opening today!!!!!

Thanks so much to everyone who sent prayers!, Called, sent messages and the people that were helping me get her home. We are so grateful..

This world has to do better! For the disabled community! But she will always have a mother that fights for her, no matter what!!!!!!

Please continue to pray, that I get this chair and it works for her and she is mobile again hopefully by the end of today! I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and I know God is on our side. Thanks everyone so much.🤍
