Hello, friends! It took a while, but Carpenter Quilts finally has WOOL! And to kick things off, we've decided to create a "Block Of The Month" based on Riley Blake's new wool offerings! This program will be great for beginners and experienced alike. This is a 12 month program, and I have 4 spots remaining. Here are the details:

What you get:
One Layer Cake of Riley Blake wool
One package of Wonderfil perle cotton size 8 threads to match (12 spools!)
Twelve Individual patterns, one for each month
One yard each of black and white wool

First month: $176.25 for the initial supplies
Months 2-12: $16.75/month for the next pattern and background wool square
Optional Purchases: Size 24 chenille needles, teflon pressing sheet, double sided fusible interfacing, temporary adhesive spray (priced individually)

BONUS: One 2-hour class each month when the new pattern is handed out with Susie! This will be a great time to ask questions, get started on the next block, or work on spots where you need to catch up.

Good morning, friends!
I have some exciting news to share: Carpenter Quilts is releasing our first ever Advent Calendar!
I love gift giving and surprises, and I hope that you find this product to be joyful, useful and of course FUN as we anticipate December 25th and Jesus’ birthday!

The Advent calendar contains 25 surprise items ranging from notions, treats, gifts, a small project and more, each chosen carefully by Jenna to keep your sewing area well stocked and your quilting inspiration flowing, with some special goodies sprinkled in.

The Advent calendar will be packaged in practical, eco-friendly materials with a few pops of holiday glitz.

Our goal in designing this was to create a thoughtful, budget-friendly product that is both useful AND fun, making this the perfect gift for yourself, a group of friends who want to celebrate together, or a quilter that you love.

Pre-sales start now, and end on Friday, September 25th.
Pickup or delivery starting Friday, November 13th.

I was fortunate to be asked to participate in the Olde Bristol Days parade on Saturday with my friend Deb, who leads the area’s Quilts of Valor chapter. Our friend Pam also joined us! We borrowed some beautiful costumes from another friend, Julia and the float from yet another friend, Troy.
We had SEW much fun bringing these quilts out for a show & tell around town!

A HUGE thank you to another great friend, Susie, for holding down the shop while I was waving like a princess all morning. 😅❤️

This is one of many bolts rolling in this week; Halloween fabrics and panels are making an appearance, and of course I went overboard on Christmas fabrics as usual. 🥴😅
